My OS11.4 stopped opening the G|DRIVEmini. Why?

System Requirements For G-DRIVE mini:
G-DRIVE mini supports the following Operating Systems. The drive is set up at the
factory for use with Mac OS systems, and formatted as ‘HFS+ with Journaling.
• Mac OS® 10.9 +
• Windows® 10, Windows® 8.1 and Windows® 7
I would suggest you to reformat the drive into APFS file format, please be informed that this process is a data destructive process.
Thank you. I’ll contact Apple Care. Maybe they have a non-data destructive solution. I can’t lose one file on that drive.
