No. If you can’t remember the password, you’re out of luck.
If you keep trying and failing then you will eventually be offered the option to reformat the drive.
This is the only way to get it functional again, but doing so will completely wipe out anything that is stored on it.
As Tony says, to get access to whatever is actually on the drive, the only way is to remember and use the password. There is no recovery option for security reasons.
