Files on WD Elements not getting read

Hi

I have a 1TB capacity WD Elements External Hard Drive. When I connect this drive to my laptop all the Content gets read and all files work perfectly. However, when I connect the same to my Media Player to watch movies, neither the Folder nor the files get read. Is this a known issue with WD Elements? And is there a fix for it?

Thank you for coming back. I have 2 media players one of which is Sumvision Cyclone and the other is Cubetek.

Verify what are the file system required by those two media players and make sure your WD Elements is formatted to meet that requirement.
