Dear members,

I’m currently facing problem connect my external hard disk to my Macbookpro OS X Version 10.9.3.

Each time i plug in and pop up (The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer).

I cant format it as all my important data is inside and I seek for your help!

Hello,

If the computer is saying the disk is not readable it means the partition is corrupted and you will need to format the drive in order to use it again. Formatting the drive will delete all the data it contains.

 It may be possible to still extract the data utilizing data recovery software. There are several kinds of Data Recovery software available. If you do a  web search for  Data Recovery  it will yield plenty of data recovery software options.
