Dropped my hard drive and trying to access the disk to see if i can’t get it going long enough to download the data off the disk. anyone know how to do this without destroying the data? Cause once the cover comes off there isn’t any clear way to continue.
Disassembly ? … if the hard drive enclosure is damaged, then that’s easy enough to remove the internal hard drive.
but if the hard drive is physically damaged internally i would strongly advise against disassembling anything.
contact a professional data recovery company that specialize in data recovery … otherwise you’ll make things worse, and your data will be gone for good (or cost you more money to recover it via a Data Recovery service.)
