Does anyone know if this drive would work with Windows XP

Says the model year is 2014, but doesn’t show the system requirements anywhere. Only PC and Mac.

Comment from someone on ebay who bought it. I guess it does work if you use the WD utility to convert it. That Joey guy was totally wrong.

I purchased these drives for use between Windows XP and 7. Although these drives will be recognized by Windows 7 they are not usable until formatted. My intention was to be able to use them between Windows XP and 7. Using any conventional method offered by Windows 7 in order to make this compatible with XP will never work. I simply used the Western Digital formatting utility and told it to make it compatible with Windows XP. This exercise took less than a minute per drive. They both work perfectly between machines.
