Deleting Backups

Orginally with my new setup I had 3 or 5 backup copies specified. Unfortunately, that setting is consuming massive amounts of file space so I’ve lowered the number but I think I should probably delete some older backups. What’s the best way to do this?

Hello, when you select the option to save several copies of the same files, it only works when the file is edited. To delete the files, you can explore the smartware backup folder “smartware.swstor” and delete the files you don’t need.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve been out of pocket, sorry for taking so long to get back and respond.

Since I have so many files backed up with multiple copies, what’s the best way to essentially delete everything and start over? Also, am I correct in thinking that if I specify to save 3 files if will only create those 3 files if the files have been changed 3 times. If not, there will only be one or the specific number of changed files backed up?
