I have the Mybook Essential 1.5TB version. The HDD is damaged and want to replace it. Can I switch it with another one with different capacity? I have an WD 2TB disk and want to install it. Will it work?

Unfortunately, Western Digital doesn’t replace damaged drive under warranty as per warranty policy. However, drive with same model number and capacity would be provided under replacement.
