When trying to get content info the system gives me an option (in this case Futurama) but when I select it it just says ‘not connected to network’ when it is.
How can this be fixed? Is it something I can do or do I have to wait for an update?

That’s a misworded error.
I would bet what’s actually happening is that you’re trying to get content info for an episode that doesn’t exist in the online database.
I was able to reproduce that error eons ago by trying, for example, to scrape a file
Scrubs.S01E80.mkv
Of course there’s no 80th episode in S01, but it does say “Network error” when trying, and of course, it has nothing to do with the network.
So. What’s the exact filename you’re trying to scrape?
