Connecting Book to WDTV Media player

Hi

Hope someone can help, I have the last version of the WDTV media player works great. Currently has 2 6tb Hard drives plugged in works fine but just bought a 12tb book works fine in comp but media player wont even pick it up. Do they not work? Or is there something I can do to get this to work, spent hrs transferring files :frowning:
