Can't use more than 2 USB drives with any USB hubs and WD Live Plus

I have the current firmware  version of WD Live Plus  and I want to use more than 2 USB drives with my network. If I plug both drives into the WD live directly via the usb ports  it works fine, but if I add a powered hub or non powered hub, the unit only sees one of the drives, no  matter which USB hub I use. or which USB connector I use on the WD Live Plus…( I have tried 2 powered hubs and 1 non powered) …If anyone has had this problem and solved it please let me know.

procol33@aol.com  Thanks!

The WD Live / Live Plus doesn’t support USB hubs.

As Tony says, only one drive on each USB socket allowed by the firmware.

As many drives as you like on USB hubs if you fancy going down the WDLXTV route.

Hello,

What is WDLXTV  ??

Check your Plus model number first. wiki page

Over educate the masses and no one will be back on here asking questions, means you will lose your daily fix of coming on here answering questions and feeling big. lol

You’re right, nothing could possibly make me feel better than some random guys on the Internet giving me kudos.
