We transferred all files and app from a Windows 7 computer to a Windows 10 computer. The tech set up automatic data backup on My Book Essential, and it is doing daily backup properly, but I cannot see the My Book home screen. My Book Essential had been used with the Windows 7 computer for years,
I can see “My Book (E:)”, and there are many files including daily backups. To see the Home Screen , I clicked the “WD smartware” file. Then, setup application window opened, and asked “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” It seems this file is for the installation of WD book app.
How can I see the Home Screen?
