I have the exact same problem. It should be something about:

I am wondering is it because of a missing font?

I Found a solution. Reinstall OS without reformatting your hdd, its just gonna fix all missing files. You wont lose any of your file. Just make sure make back up before you do it. Incase something else happen.

I have installed several packages on my Mac & none of them had such issue. It’s a bug in installer itself and doing a reinstall looks irrelevant for this case and in my case since it is a company computer I can’t just reinstall OS.
