Cannot access WD Elements

I just had an emergency replacement of my internal SSD and in the process my WD Elements external drive seems to have been re-designated as SYSTEM (E:) and windows 10 will not allow me permission to access. Does anyone have ideas or guidance.

Hi JJWorks,

All or most of the files stored on an external hard drive either have Read-Only access, or produces an access denied error when attempting to access that data on another PC. The user may be the sole owner/administrator of either or both computers and still have this access issue.

You can refer the link mentioned below to troubleshoot for the issue as it could be an issue with the operating system permissions on the drive.
