Can Old Firewire Enclosure handle 3 Tb Drive?

I have an old G-Drive Q1000 GB and was wondering whether I could fit a larger capacity drive? My drive of choice would be the 3Tb WD Blue.

That enclosure was never designed to support larger than 2TB drives.
