Can I use my WD Black for Mac Time Machine, Photo Storage, AND PS4 storage

I have a WD Black 5TB I just picked up as an additional backup. My primary backup (for my Macs and photo/document storage) is a WD Passport for MAC (2TB). The passport works perfectly for my Mac time machines and then additional storage of documents. I’m wondering if I can use my new one for MAC Time Machine, storage and then also for my PS4 storage. My PS4 just maxed out and I can’t store many games on it.

If so what is the game plan/order of operations.

Format for MAC
Partition (create a partition for storing files and photos). DO I also create a partition for the PS4?
Backup MACs (2 of them)
Copy storage files
Then setup PS4?

I’m just not sure if I can use this for all 3 purposes.

Hi @SamauriWookieBoy,

Kindly refer the article Time Machine Backup and Restore from macOS to a WD External Drive:

Anyone knows how to login in via the WD app in the My Home Cloud? I seem to have a constant failure to login with no internet available!
