I have 3tb usb external drive and I put bit locker system to my passport at that time I was using window 7 but when I installed windows 10 suddenly my passport wd hardware not working properly I tried to recover it but I couldn’t it. Current status is when I attached my passport drive it showing only lable of drive for ex. E drive, else nothing working and it’s also not showing in disk management. Please help me reset This drive and if possible to recover data so please help me
Did it pop up a window to ask for a BitLocker recovery key or password? like this picture:
If yes, put in your password to unlock your USB drive. If not, you may use a BitLocker decryption tool to access data on the encrypted USB drive. Or follow this guide to unlock a BitLocker drive without a recovery key or password.
Note: I tried this program’s free version to unlock simple BitLocker passwords; you can copy the password and then access your USB storage with the copied password without paying.

You can see that my E drive is the same as yours, but the difference is that when I double-click on it, prompted for a password to unlock it. My solution is to download the unlock tool in my link, wait for it to decrypt the E drive password > copy the password > enter the password to unlike the E drive. I’m not sure if this method will work in your case, you can try it, good luck dude!
