I am new to this forum and am looking to you more tech savvy people for some assistance.
I have a 1TB “My Passport” with lots of files and photos on it, I used to use it on an older computer with an older operating system. I recently got a new computer with windows 10, since then it has asked me for BitLocker key, I have been able to locate the 48 digit recover key, however, I do not want to have to enter that every time I use the My Passport. It is hooked up though USB in drive (G). is there a way that I can unlock this BitLocker? So when I plug in the external drive, it just opens automatically like before without having to use any type of security key to access? If so, how do I go about doing so with out loosing everything that is on the drive.
