Bitlocker Drive Encryption

Hi:

I am crying for your help on an issue on Bitlocker Drive Encryption.

I connected my WD Passport Ultra portable disk to a Windows 10 laptop. After then, I can not access to it through my Laptop with Windows 7. It has a lock sign on the icon. Error message says A recovery key was not found on this drive. I connect the disk to a different laptop with Windows 10, it worked again. We try to remove the lock from the Windows 10 computer, it was not successful. could someone advise?

Since BitLocker is a Windows feature unrelated to Western Digital, then perhaps it would be best to contact Microsoft Support about this.

Encryption bypass is difficult since most companies would rather not have a backdoor exposed for exploit (If it exists), but they may be able to help you identify the reason why your credentials are not accepted.
