Very recently got the EX2 Ultra (yesterday) and have been somewhat stumbling around. Its all very new to me and at the moment its seems very confusing. It is setup with the firmware update. Installed WD Smartware. So all the files have been backed up that I wanted, through the WD Smartware App with the exception of the pictures folder which I did a drag and drop through File Explorer into the Public Shared Folders whereby I created a Pictures Folder, thinking that it would give me access on my iPad/iPhone. Now having second thoughts and perhaps I should have used WD Smartware rather than the ‘drag and drop’.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
