I recently started researching a reliable and fast external storage device because I need something portable for large files and backups. I read reviews on The Verge, TechRadar, and PCMag and one product consistently stood out: SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD.
This SSD caught my attention because of its impressive speed (up to 1050MB/s), compact and travel-friendly design, and IP55 rating for water and dust resistance.
I mainly need it for storing 4K video files, website backups, and transferring large project files across multiple devices (Windows, Mac, phone, etc.).
I came across two versions on Amazon:
Seagate Portable 2TB External Hard Drive HDD
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FRHTSK4.
SanDisk 2TB Extreme Portable SSD
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TKFEEBW
Now I’m a bit confused about which version offers better long-term performance and reliability. If you’ve used either one, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Which one would you recommend?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
