i need a NAS to do the following:
allow individual/group to have their own private folder
but one there should also be 1 public folder
allow remote access to access to those folder
haha just some simple requirement… if it is a yes i will buy it now 
Yes, it can do that.
Remote Access is enabled via the WD2Go utility, not via DIRECT access, though such a thing is possible if you really know what you’re doing.
