Bad sectors - WD Elements SE Portable

My WD Elements has only a few operating hours because it was only used for backup operations, but still a lot of bad sectors.

The warranty check says, it is expired.

I never had such problemes with other hard drives, so it seems to fail for no reason. :disappointed_relieved:

WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostic:
On the first try, the repair was successfull. But the second scan cancelled with “Too many bad sectors detected”.

Badblocks
The Badblocks scan deteced the frist bad block on 620018163 (with a block size 1024), it should be somewhere at 630GB?

Would it make sense to use the hard drive for uninportant files as a temporary network storage?

Thanks
