Backing up Windows server 2012r2

Hello,

I am considering purchasing a WD My Cloud Pro Series PR2100 NAS to backup specific shared folders upon a Windows server 2012r2 server. This is not a VM server and purely acts as a File & Printer server. The NAS comes with Acronis True Image, but it does not support Windows Server 2012r2. I also don’t want to use Windows Backup because of its limitations around backing up to remote shares & My cloud OS 5 does not support Windows server. Can some please recommend a backup software that I can install upon Windows Server 2012r2 that will allow for backups to the NAS.

Regarding the backup, as mentioned you can try the Acronis Software https://download.wdc.com/acronis/AcronisTrueImageWD_WIN.zip
