Hi. As a Windows 10 user, I accidentally bought a 2tb Passport for MAC !! Duh !
Instead of trudging back to WalMart in foot deep snow & near zero temperature, I thought I’d stretch my 70 year old brain & successfully reformatted the Passport for Windows 10. Works great. MY QUESTION: Can I expect any problems down the road because it was originally a MAC Passport? Put another way, are MAC Passports & WINDOWS 10 Passports the exact same machine EXCEPT FOR THE FORMATTING ??

Well, the only difference was the file system of the drive i.e it was initially preformatted in HFS+j file system so that once the drive is plugged in on the Windows it will not get detected on the host device, You have to format the drive in the compatible file system (that you have already done) to make them compatible with the windows. Apart from this, there is no difference, it is only a plug and play mass storage drive.
