Activation error reinstalling WD Smartware Pro

I had to replace my hard drive and am re-installing Smartware Pro.

I enter my validation code and email that is registered with this purchase and get the following response…

“There was an error trying to validate your activation code. Please try again later.”

I try again later and get the same result.

I tried to open a help ticket and and get an error during knowledge base search.  

Anyone have any ideas on what I’m supposed to do?

I saw a case like this before. 

Check if you have a firewall active that is not allowing the software to contact the WD servers to validate the code.
