I just started using Acronis True Image and will be backing up a laptop and a desktop to a WD external drive. I’m wondering what the best way to handle this is, as the laptop in particular has limited storage and I will need to back it up to the external, then delete files from said laptop, and repeat every once in a while to free up space. I don’t want the files deleted from the laptop to also disappear from the backup. Does it matter which backup method I use among full, incremental, and differential?
