Is there a WD database somewhere that lays out which drivmodels reports as 512(e) or 4k native?
I know I can find out myself but I like to know before I purchase. I know al reds are 512e. What about all Blues or Purples?

Hi,
Please check the specification of the drive mentioned below:
WD Blur Drive: https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/281
WD Purple Drive: https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/291
4Kn is the advanced format in which the physical sectors and logical sectors are both 4,096 bytes in size. 512e is the advanced format in which the physical sector size is 4,096 bytes, but the logical sector size emulates 512 bytes sector size.
It’s not in the specifications.
