can 4TB sharespace be upgraded with either of following drives:
1TB WD 7200rpm
2TB WD 7200rpm
Also does it support SATA III (6gbps)

Hey there, I have a friend that tried these updates but it worked intermittently, It is not guaranteed so you coud test it but it might be unstable, what he ended up doing was getting drives the same exact model of the ones that went bad.
you cannot upgrade the drives in the SS. the chips in SS are only programmed/built to read and write on whatever capacity of the drives that it came with…
so no you cannot upgrade the drives
