3 TB WD red new model so loud

Hello,

I am using 2 WD red 3 TB HDD with a NAS.

Everything was very quiet.
Now I musst replace one of this drives and received a new model … and this model is so loud.

Is there a chance to silent the new model ?

old one:
WDC WD30EFRX-68AX9N0 80.00A80 WD30EFRX-68AX9N0

new one:
WDC WD30EFRX-68EUZN0 82.00A82 WD30EFRX-68EUZN0

Hi,

Both drives seem to be the same model, perhaps this new drive might be defective, try to see if you get errors on the newer one, there should not be a lot of differences between the 2 drives.
