2.5" External 4Tb CMR and 5400rpm recommendation

Hi, I received a My Passport Ultra and to my surprise the disk inside is an smr 4800rpm disk, compared to my older Passport 5400 cmr disks.

Can you recommend an external 2.5" 5400rpm CMR alternative?
Thanks

Most new 2.5" external hard drives use slower SMR technology, while your older drive uses faster and more reliable CMR. If you’re looking for a good 5400 RPM CMR alternative, consider the Toshiba Canvio Basics, Seagate Backup Plus Slim, or Transcend StoreJet 25M3—preferably in 1TB or 2TB sizes, as these are confirmed to use CMR. Avoid newer WD drives, especially 4TB and above, since they often use SMR. Always check the model number before buying to be sure it uses CMR.
