the 1 tb wont power on . i hve not used it for the past couple of months and now when i want to use it , it does not work.

checkek the adapter it works

its still under warranty

what to do? any ideas

The usual ts will be trying different cable and different computer

Verify if the drive appears on disk management

try updating the drivers 

if still does not work replace the drive
