Doe the Acronis app on the PR4100 actually do anything, or is it just a link to buy the software? The configure button is greyed out, but there is a switch to run the app or not.

Perhaps it would be best to contact WD Support about this. You can do so over the phone or via E-mail.
after installing it on my pr4100, i had the configure button to the web config portal.
you have 2 free licenses included for two cameras and access to the android/ios app.
