Xvid video is pixelated only on animated tv shows

My animated 20 minute videos play very pixelated and are unwatchable. They resemble a dirty DVD. The sound if fine and they play fine on the PC.  The funny thing is it only happens with some of my animated TV shows. Some the entire series and others just a few episodes. They are in xvid format. I haven’t come across a full length movie that does this.

Any thoughts?

Well … it looks ok

personally, if it’s only a few videos that have the problem … then i would re-encode them

which 99% of the time will fix them … and also your video is only 139MB which won’t take long to re-encode

you could try avidemux     http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/  or handbrake  https://handbrake.fr/

maybe with avidemux try the Video Copy and Audio Copy 1st … this will re-mux the file without re-encoding … which will take about 15 seconds

if that doesent work … then do a full re-encode which may take 15 - 20 mins

Looked at the wrong file. Here is the right one:

you will need to re-encode the file (with No Qpe l and No GMC warppoints )

You are correct. I re-encoded just like it was suggested in the link you poseted and they are all working perfect now. Thanks for the help
