I just bought the 2TB G-Drive Mobile External Hard Drive.
But it will NOT let me transfer ANY files and I can not use it as the drive for my Back-Up.
WHY?
What operating system are you using the drive on? G-Tech products out of the box are pre-formatted for Mac only so if you are on Windows you will need to follow a process to remove the Mac format so you can use it.
If on a Mac then all you need to do is attach the drive and add the drive to your Time Machine backup disk preferences.
