WDTV Live Plus NO video

Hello.

I recently received a WDTV Live plus.  No matter which connection I use (HDMI/Composite, or component) I do not get any video on the screen.  As soon as i plug the power in to the unit, the power LED is white, and the remote doesn’t seem o do anything either.  I have tried pressung the reset buton many times but nothing seems to work.

Is there any way this can be fixed?  Maybe an emergency firmware reload of some kind?

Where did you receive your live plus from?

I bought it off Ebay as a as-is unit hoping I could somehow fix it.

If you’re trying Composite (AV / OUT) you MUST use the WD-supplied adapter cable.   Make sure the cable that came with it is such a cable.

If you do not have the original A/V cables, you need to get them, so see my reply to this person yesterday about the same issue:
