Hello, I am having problems with my SN850 500gb drive. I happen to install it on my M.2_1 (PCIe 3.0, SATA) and it is reaching half the guaranteed speed, about 3500mbs. The board where I have it installed is a ROG STRIX Z490-E GAMING. I don’t know if anyone else has the same problem.

PS: I already updated my BIOS and SN850 firmware to the latest version.

The SN850’s maximum advertised speeds require a pcie 4.0x4 nvme connection, and a quick search shows that your motherboard only has pcie 3.0x4 nvme connections, so those speeds seem appropriate for a pcie 3.0x4 connection. You’ll have to upgrade to a motherboard and processor (If Intel, then Rocket Lake; if AMD, then Ryzen gen 3 ) that supports and has pcie 4.0x4 nvme slots. I hope this helps.
