Has any developer ever thought of porting the UI of the WD TV Live / hub unit over to pc? Is it at all possible? I’m asking this, because I’m starting to look at alternatives which includes an HTPC setup due to the fact that my unit is also (like a lot of other people here) giving issues. I have tried XBMC/Kodi, MediaPortal, Plex etc, but none of them gives me the easy usability the WDTVLive does. I honestly think this would be a great software on PC. A great alternative to give the rest a kick in the butt!
Is there something like this perhaps?
