Wd my passport 0748 is not working. Data cable is proper working…but hard disk is not showing total gb contain…it is not open in any laptop or computer…please reply…

i have wd my passport hd 0748 (blue). when i connected my hard drive to laptop, in my computer i only see the drive name local disk (j:). when i click on this drive it cannot open. laptop is hang this time…i downloaded dignostic tool from wd site. but time required for quick test or other is more than 500 hours. major problem is hang my computer when it connected. External HD drive not open…please reply

1.drive show in my pc but not accessing it (it hang)
2.in disk management no external drive is show
3.and i also try to uninstall the drivers from device manager
4.i also try chkdsk command to recover that bad sectors but its also not work (it take too much time)

Probably you need to check the drive for any error using Windows Data life guard.
