WD Live Hub Question

I have the Live Hub with one TB hard drive and have a question.  Lets say a few years from now the unit malfunctions and will no longer power on.  Would it be possible to send the defective unit into Western Digital, along with a newly purchased one, and have them transfer the data from the old hard drive to the new one? Also is it possible to order custom made Live Hub’s, with an included hard drive bigger than a TB?  Thanks.

I really doubt WD’s service extend to this but since the Hub has been end of life for a few years, you wouldn’t be able to get a new one anyway. Shouldn’t be too difficult to swap a disk yourself if you get another model on ebay though.
