Dear everybody,
I accidentally dropped my WD external HD. Now the system wont recognize the drive. I was told to purchase a new controller card, which i did, and no luck. I also purchased a used, exact external hard drive to try the controller board and also the other board and nothing. I notice that when i connect the drive the light blinks but i don’t hear that the drive is spinning at all. When I connect the other HD i can hear the drive spinning ans it’s recognized by my laptop. Any suggestions? Please!! I need to recover all my stuff out of this hd.
