I have been using with drive without any issues until today. I can not get my mac to recognize the drive. It is making a spinning/clicking sound.
I can not retrieve any of my files, any one have any ideas? Please help!

Is the drive is showing up in the disk utility?
The clicking sound is an indication of physical damage done on the hard drive. It’s about to fail soon so hurry up and create a disk image of it via Disk Utility.
