WD Blue 1TB SATA for iMac (Mid-2010)?

Hello,

I am looking to get a WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch Desktop Hard Drive (WD10EZEX) to replace the HD in my iMac “Core i3” 3.2 21.5-inch (Mid-2010).

Does anyone know if this drive is fully compatible with my iMac or if I will run into any issues?

Hi mannyotr ,

Yes, WD Blue drive is compatible with the iMac. You just have to initialize it and re-format the drive in compatible file system.
