I have this drive connected to a USB 3.0 port. I also tried a different USB 3.0 port. My write speed is still just about 50% from the speed which I can see online. I have i3-8100 CPU, 8GB ram. Do you know where is the issue?

What hard drive technology is being used for these drives? SMR, CMR, PMR? This should be disclosed in the product descriptions.
