Warranty Issue/ just bought 02/16/2017 from B&H Photo Online Warranty supposed to be 3yrs…WD is telling me ive got ONLY 110 days…I cant find a place or a number to contact…Thanks
If your unit was manufactured a long time ago you may have to contact WD Support and send them a copy of your receipt in order to amend your warranty.
it was probably sitting on the shelf or in a warehouse for years. unfortunately WD hasn’t yet developed a crystal ball to predict when each individual hard drive will be sold.
create a support ticket with WD asking them to update the warranty date. submit a picture of the hard drive itself (not the box) CLEARLY showing the serial number and a scan of the receipt/invoice.
