I’ve tried many different subtitles files “.srt, .**bleep**, .idx/.sub” for Vietnamese subtitles but none of them work on WDTV. What happen is when it display, it didn’t show complete words always missing characters in between of the word. It show fine on PC, is there a fix for it? Thx.
Have you tried contacting WD’s Technical Support about this? You can do so either by phone or email.

Yeah, I asked them and they said it doesn’t support yet, and engineers are working on it for the next release.

I rang up WD in Australia and ask for the same thing Vietnamese subtitles support. They said to add it in the community and here I am.
PLEASE PROVIDE VIETNAMESE SUBTITLE SUPPORT IN THE NEXT FIRMWARE.
CURRENTLY USING WD TV LIVE ON FIRMWARE Release 1.02.21 (3/30/10) STILL NOT SUPPORT VIETNAMESE.

Your post sounds more like an Idea or a Feature Request. The best place for this is in our Ideas Lab. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it. However, I would search first and make sure that there isn’t another idea similar to yours that you could add your post to and vote on.
