SmartWare didn’t see WD protected drive. (Sees 4TB but not 3TB).
I removed all traces of SmartWare from system. Windows10 see the unlock VCD. When unlock.exe is executed, the following message appears, pointing right back to the same VCD. Unlocks okay on another machine that doesn’t have SmartWare installed.
I have never had this problem or had to use Unlock, but what did the information under 
say about this, Unlock?
Suggest you look at the Help tab, Manage and Customize>Manage Drive Security?.
