Updated to WD Media Server yesterday via patch - no more network connection

dlna Media Server works fine, but I cannot access network any more.

windows mbl installation says i need to update the firmware, but firmware check says there is the newest firmware installed already.

any idea?

further explanations:

I got firmware version 02.41.05-034 on my book last week. Everything worked fine.

Then I updated to

Windows 8 - Switching between TwonkyMedia and WD’s DLNA Media Server

I rebooted and tried to apply the patch again. nothing changes.

I tried to reinstall mbl for windows. it says I need to update firmware. but there is no newer one.

Do I need to reinstall version 02.41.05-034 and use TwonkyMedia again?
