Unable to connect remotly

I have the MyCloud 2T on my network it works perfectly, but I have not been able to see any files with my phone when the phone  is not connected to my network. All I see is the WDMyCloud drive and when I click on it, it dims and seems to try then says Unable to access device.

What’s wrong?

Most important: Open Port 443 for the NAS’s IP address, I had this issue for a few hours when figured it out.

Same thing here. Don’t know how to figure it out.

BullZeye, How and where should I open the port? 

Find your routers manual, they write it down there.

I got i working today by doing the port forwarding but it says it failed and set up a relay.

So it seems to work now remotely but it is the relay mode that was panned.

If it says relay connection established your port forwarding is not working properly and it’s using WD server as relay to comunicate remotely.
