My Passport Ultra today wouldn’t mount on Mac Book. Has been working for perfectly. Other usb drives mount immediately. Ultra DOES open on PC laptop and all folders/files available.
Checked Finder Prefs and ext drives ticked to view.
Disk Utilities doesn’t show it.
As My Passport Ultra is not getting mount on macOS but working on Windows, this may be due to incompatible file system format. You should check the file system format and reformat in compatible OS file format to use before taking backup of important data files.
